“No; something else happened; Bibi spoke with hm for about 50 minutes; amazing really.”
No surprise, they’re likely good friends, as Israel and modern-day Russia have been very close, until to Oct. 7th (something the Russia-haters would prefer you don’t know).
My guess is that Hamas wants to end the Israeli operation (to keep from getting fully wiped out) and Russia calling for Hamas to give up their hostages MAY give them a face-saving way to do so, as they can claim that they’re working with Russia for peace.
In any case, we shall see - Russia calling for the release of hostages is a big deal (in my opinion), something that Hamas cannot simply ignore. The question now is whether Israel will stop their operation if the hostages do get released.
“Russia calling for Hamas to give up their hostages MAY give them a face-saving way to do so”
That is probably the Russian intent, but I fear that almost all the “hostages” are dead. They were holding 20 corpses that they would not release. Why would they do that? It would reveal what butchery they practiced on them.
Hamas must be ended. Period.
