“Not cutting any jobs in their Mexico operations?”

Cartels better to deal with than the filthy unions.

Yep. Your simple, enjoyable life in Rural Michigan is upended and you’re plunked down in DETROIT.

IF you still want a job, that is. ;)

GM realizes the E-car was just, plain boojit !

We don't want 'em and are STILL waiting for brand new '56 an' 57 Chevy's in baby blue n' white.

WHAT is wrong with the auto industry . . . we loved our pre '70's cars and we can no longer afford to restore 'em (IF we can FIND one . . ).

... but a brand new from original forms an' stamps with modern technology an' components, all hidden from sight ?

Would YOU buy a brand new '57 T'Bird?

I do not understand.
If there is any sense in having EV, it would be having a small commuter car, just to move around the town.

EV trucks and large SUV’s are tonally useless, no power at all.
The only use of them is virtue signaling.

My view on EVs is they are sunbelt commuter cars. When the cars operate outside of milder weather conditions, range drops. I wouldn’t own one as a primary car...

Sigh... I owned a pristine '57 Chevy 2-dr coupe, low mileage, 327ci engine and Muncie 4-spd trans, hydraulic lift shocks to raise the rear, offset spindles in front, headers out the fenders with pipes under the side sills of the doors, etc. Wish I never sold it in the mid-70's, but I needed the money for dental work. Best of several cars I owned back then, including '56, '58 and '63 Chevy's. They don't make them like that anymore.

Get up on your internet & search for HEMMINGS MOTOR NEWS.

Lots of vehicles there-—

Also SUMMIT RACING PARTS has NEVER LET ME DOWN-—

I drive a 1979 Buick wagon—since AUG 1981...223,000 miles

And a 1976 1 ton 4 speed dually Chevy truck—since April of 1986....over 348,000 miles on chassis.

LOVE MY OLD IRON...Have a mechanic that also loves older cars. I can do alot of general maintenance myself-—But he does very good work on items I cannot do.

Could be related to gruesome Newsom and the democrat party.

Here’s How Gruesome Newsom’s Commiefornia Is Killing the American Auto Industry

Top U.S. car manufacturer Stellantis sent notices to 2,455 workers in Detroit and 1,225 workers in Ohio on Dec. 8, notifying employees of possible layoffs to come in February in a move to shift its production to comply with California’s regulations that are increasingly cracking down on internal combustion engine vehicles
