The Nixon "joke" was way out of line and I say this a someone who liked Mr. Nixon from the time I was 9 ( which is a LOT longer than Stone liking him !), later worked on both of his winning presidential campaigns, went to his inaugural balls, and actually did slightly "know" him.

We weren’t allowed to watch TV at that age. I knew nothing about what was going on. I do recall seeing the Nixon posters when he was running.
