FBI secretly taped James Biden as it probed attorney who paid $100K to his consulting firm: report

President Biden’s brother James was secretly recorded by the FBI during a bribery investigation into a Mississippi trial attorney who shelled out $100,000 to his consulting firm in the late 1990s, a report said on Sunday.

Richard Scruggs, the trial attorney, hired James and Sara Biden’s DC consulting firm while seeking to gin up support for tobacco legislation being contemplated by Congress in 1998, the Washington Post reported.

Neither James, 74, nor his brother President Joe Biden, 81, were implicated in any major criminal wrongdoing in the case. But the revelation comes amid an impeachment probe into alleged influence-peddling by the president’s family members.

“I probably wouldn’t have hired him if he wasn’t the senator’s brother,” Scruggs told the Washington Post about why he forked over cash to James Biden’s firm.

“Jim was never untoward about his influence,” he added. “He didn’t brag about it or talk about it. He didn’t have to. He was the man’s brother.”

WaPo apparently broke the story today. If they are publishing articles critical of the Biden family, then they are trying to get ahead of something else soon being released so this can be considered debunked or “old news”, or being instructed to publish it by the “powers that be”.

Is James Biden going to be sacrificed for Joe with the mantra that “Joe had no idea” this was being done by his brother? WaPo is in the pocket of the FBI. Nothing regarding the Bidens is uncovered or released by investigative reporting. It is all by design.

The FBi went after someone (from China) that was being brazen and obvious - (and who had a scheme with Hunter and Jim) and the Prosecutor went to a NY Judge - and everyone (Defense and Witnesses) were prohibited from using the Biden name, in any way.

The Judge told the Defense they were prohibited from using it in motions, too.

I'm from Mississippi and Dickie Scruggs is a well known scumbag around here. He spent time in a federal prison for bribing a judge. He was due to host a campaign party for Hillary Clinton but was arrested a few days before, the Clintons acted like they'd never heard of him. Before that he made about $300 million by representing the state of Mississippi in their shakedown of the tobacco industry. His old friend Mike Moore was the MS attorney general and he hired Scruggs to head the case, which resulted in him making the $300M. It's good to have friends in high places.

He's also the brother in law of former Senate majority leader Trent Lott, something you usually have to dig to find out. This in itself goes to show that it's really the uniparty, R's are just as dirty as the D's.

If there's corruption to be had then Scruggs will be slithering around somewhere. He and the Bidens are perfectly suited for each other.

There have been back room discussions among Democrats about replacing Biden, but unlike LBJ, old Joe refuses to comply. Panicked Democrats are running out of time. The primaries start next month.
