Truth be told, the media and the pope are on the same side here.
I have to say , though you sound like you may have some hate towards the Catholic Church , I say your news sounds joyful! What a blessing to be able to have a closer relationship with God at your new Church, yes , these are biblical times and seeing Gods work like this out in the open , how we are all used in one way or another for His purpose and will. I’m focusing on volition at this point , I’ve discovered that what I really want isn’t something that the self I let myself become really wants , so , I have to kill that self daily in order to really have what I need and want . Meditation is a huge help , making healthy patterns slowly and sticking to them is a worthwhile battle for me ,, thanks for sharing your story !
Yeah, it sounds like they are just redefining “blessing.”
What a ridiculous word salad. Pope Light-in-the-Loafers must be akin to Kamala.
Pope Damage Control.
So labor unions are not left wing? Is that what you are saying?
I never trust any author with a hyphenated name.
“Linguistic acrobatics to confuse the laity and outsiders”
A prominent feature of Catholicism in my view.
Catholics trample this in the extreme. Their vocabulary is more elastic than jello. They throw in some fancy Latin to sound erudite. They will have a mountain of words to explain some position which is an obvious smokescreen to avoid admitting contradiction to Scripture. This especially applies to Marianism but others as well..
Amen!
And don’t forget the long-suffering Lutherans!
The Polish labor unions fought for the freedom of Poland in the 70’s & 80’s.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solidarity_%28Polish_trade_union%29...its wiki but they got the drift right.
Lech Walesa was a hero back then and it was THAT movement the Pope endorsed. IIRC, the Pope was from Poland.
Those unions may have been “left wing” relative to the ruling totalitarians but they were in this case on the right side.
Never trust anyone with a hyphenated Irish-Spanish name. Looks like the ultramontanists Roman kool aid drinkers are again twisting like pretzels to defend what the Dope in Rome has said.
I read a bunch of headlines that said Bergoglio approved it. Glad to hear it ain’t true.
