is the link messed up:
Sounds like half the elected officials in the State are on the Take and don’t want it found out
Government officials demand people and businesses disclose everything, but hate it when they have to disclose everything.
I don’t think it’s that cut and dry. They’re asking for a lot of information - if I own 15% of a strip mall as a silent partner, they’re asking me to disclose my interest (which is fair) as well as the names of the tenants who provide 10% or more of the business income. I get the transparency, but that’s a lot of leg work and accounting for a job that pays 12,600 a year (I used Boca Raton as an example) for part-time work.
While I am sure that there are plenty of people who have “something to hide”, there are a lot of folks who think it’s just not worth it.

Can we do this for congress?

Take a look at the instructions - it’s a fair amount of work to fill this out honestly.
Sounds to me, they may have been stuffing their pockets .
The really corrupt ones just pay their family six figure for campaign activities. This sounds like they got a break. Disclose all of income received by family members, then the other half might resign. Clean house! Now go national.
Here is a text of the bill (notice it amends existing statute)that includes the new requirements. Items underlined are additions those crossed through are deletions to statute.

Here is the form 6 from 2020. I could not find an updated version but I doubt much has changed.

Instead of staying and fighting unconstitutional crap like this (that I guess desantis is fine with?) they abandon jobs and let those positions be taken by worse people, willing to allow unconstitutional things like this to be enforced.
HOW FAR BACK??
