Can’t charge battery beyond 80% which means the range is 20% less or the battery will need to be replaced much sooner at $15,000 plus. Add in cold weather and the range will be further reduced by up to 40% so now 60% less range then you get to charge the battery for 45 mins or more to get to the 80% and repeat the problem etc.
I have not even seen any statistics on electric vehicle battery operation below 10 degrees.
I guess the owners will have to try it to find out....
