Why aren’t police officers ever asked what they did to de-escalate the confrontation? Manslaughter x 3.

Why wouldn’t they ?

they only changed their story a bunch of times, they knew the guy, and they knew he was probably on drugs.

I have followed the trial from the beginning and I never heard the officers articulate probable cause to start harassing him in the first place.

just like the poor native indian in seattle who was gunned down cause he had a pocket knife and the cop wanted to jack him up.

You see, this is why I like vest and dash cams.

You just go to tape and a bunch of stuff becomes really clear.

Police driving by minding their own business when someone charges their car and starts beating on it, one thing. Police see a guy walking down the street and decide to hassle him, quite another. Can not tell which one this is.

Now, did they kill him? No. Did they contribute to his death with rough handling? Maybe.

But six police officers? For one guy walking down the street? It just feels off.

I don't know the details of this case. But, cops are rarely found guilty in court, even when they've killed an innocent person.

What's unusual is that Chauvin, Lane, Keung, and Thao were found guilty in the George Floyd case and sent to prison.

It’s hard for me to believe, but justice actually prevailed. Manny Ellis was a genuine thug. Cut from the same cloth as Saint George Floyd. It amazes me how certain folks transmogrify thugs into saintly patrons when it’s nothing farther from the truth. What do honest God fearing productive Black citizens think about this insanity? I happened to drive by this on Monday.

Here’s the same intersection last night. The protest was led by the dead thug’s sister, whose testimony, IMHO, sealed the acquittal for these 3 cops. SMH

More failed war on the police by our current State AG Sideshow Bob Ferguson who pushed the Tacoma Prosecutor to take this case on, much like what Sideshow Bob tried doing with Pierce County Sheriff Ed Troyer a year or so ago. Sideshow Bob is running for governor. This state will cease to exist if he gets elected. The bastard sued the Trump administration 55-60 times as fundraising stunts on the Washington State Taxpayers dime!

His methamphetamine load was classified as deadly.

Ellis was walking down the street eating a donut high on meth. Methamphetamine was not the cause of his death. Suffocation by cop was the cause of his death.

Maybe. Prosecutors have thrown these kind of cases before. It’s bad for the career to be seen as tough on cops. Just hold back a little bit of evidence, and boom, acquitted.

The article is biased. I noticed three things right away:

1) "Black"

2) "white"

3) "Asian-American"

Capital letters matter.

It's confusing.

I don't trust the police.

I trust Big Media even less.

Urban blacks have a long history of ranting, raving, and rioting any time something doesn't go their way.
