Good! I hope they wrap things up, go in, find all the illegal bio labs the US has there, and all the money laundering going on, and exposes it all to the world.

Now, even a Black Swan event is openly discussed

Yeah, I noticed that too.

Almost like they are planning it.

A view from a different national press;

SVT's Ukraine expert cow ducks [ machine translation through the browser from Swedish ] – no longer believes in war profits
Published 12/2023

Lieutenant Colonel Joakim Paasikivi has long been the media and, not least, the most frequently employed by the State Television expert to convey assessments of how the war between Russia and Ukraine is going. In his, as many, he has unrealistic belief that Ukraine should prevail compared to "Baghdad Bob”. Now Paasikivi releases the optimistic facade and changes foot.

..... What could change this would be if NATO instead of waging proxy war against Russia through Ukraine today would declare regular war on Putin. However, it would have enormous consequences that far exceed those of a Russian profit in Ukraine and a return in the country to a more Russia-friendly attitude would mean security policy.

Former optimist now more pessimistic

And now also the greatest Ukraine optimist of all, Joakim Paasikivi, joins, to the increasingly dominant assessment that around half a million Russian and Ukrainian soldiers and at least 10,000 civilian Ukrainians from that perspective may have died in vain while large parts of Ukraine are located in ruins.

– It looks darker now. I thought the [Ukrainian military forces] would be better, he admits in an interview with SvD.

“Now, even a Black Swan event is openly discussed, emerged from the internet chat rooms onto ABC NEWS reporting, by the reliable Catherine Herrege, formerly of FOXNews Corp.”

It’s the end of the year and people do predictions. The thing about black swans if you can set up trades to maximize your profit on them. It doesn’t matter what they are or where…if you plan for it, you can make millions. It’s a painful trade, but if it pays off you walk away rich.

Or, it doesn’t happen and you double down next year.

That is what these people are doing with their predictions. No one remembers in December that you predicted it last year. Unless it happens…then you are Nostradamus.

~~~
Tongue in cheek reading that.😎
Strategic strike(s), of any kind, from a single source, or by a captured White House, in a last gasp state of mind to retain power?
Apologies. I’m pretty jaded at this point.
I’m looking at the last sentence you typed, which uses the word “soon”.
The general did not say “soon”, he did not imply that a victory would be quick or near term.
What would your last sentence be if you understood well that the topic raised is not about anything rapid nor near term?
Where do you see things heading long term?
That is a really stupid headline, many, like me, knew this from day one….it was confirmed when I saw all the Western MSM proclaiming Vlad was fighting with shovels, chips from dishwashers, running out of ammo, taking heavy losses, Russian citizens crying for regime change, Vlad terminally ill, Russia collapsing, etc….the sad part is how many bought into Biden’s farce.
“It’s the same assessment because the Regime has thrown in the towel on Ukraine, and is now signalling the change of Narrative.”
Correct, they’re now permitted to tell the truth, and we even see it a bit from their Operatives here.
They need a Black Swan event, perhaps, to pop the Great Reset, in all it’s various forms.
The Covid scam didn’t do it but it certainly progressed things down the road toward a BSE and/or GR.
They cover vehicles and equipment destroyed based on social media photos and video. It is a pro Ukraine site so they only cover Russian losses.
People criticize these open source sites for double counting etc. But I think it is still a valuable source for trends.
I am sure many of the Zeepers would love a casualty count of Russian deaths with as much gore and mutilation video and photos as possible.
The “meatbag” mindset reflects the de-humanized thinking of many Zeepers, which is why many of us DO NOT WANT people with such a mentality to influence NATO into joining this war.
Not sure as they attack far differently now than one year ago. The drones changed warfare for everyone. Large vehicle convoys are now a thing of the past. Russia is using 1942 tactics of ‘meat waves’ to good effect. Then people, not vehicle losses, predominate. I have no belief that either side correctly reports losses in this war.
I see a large delivery of combat aircraft to Ukraine, I think it’s already in progress. I see Ukraine not committing a significant amount of equipment to defense. Ukraine appears to give ground to make the Russians have enormous losses for small gains. This suggest to me that they are quietly building for a new offensive. Potentially even baiting the Russians to commit forces to a location that can be pinched off. The Germans were really good at this in WW11, and it made the Soviet advance painful.
I don’t know if the Ukraine ‘plan’ will work, it’s NATO combined attack doctrine that they seem to be moving towards. Russians are way ahead in electronic warfare, and even combined air and land attacks may not be successful. I believe, at least for now, Russia is winning and gaining ground. The price in human life is likely 3x the reported Russian losses, or close to 750-1 mil Russians (including Wagner, prisoners, soldiers, volunteers).
I hope for a quick end to the war, but I doubt it will end soon. I see an end when Russia looses control of all Ukrainian territory, when Ukraine losses control of all Ukrainian relevant territory, or when Russians figure out how bad their kids are being wasted. Putin has said he will continue for five years, two or three million Russian losses can be expected with current tactics, but they will win in this scenario IMHO. Nothing is likely to end soon.
