Other city agencies that have previously participated in MARCH will now also follow the new guidelines, including the Fire Department and Department of Buildings, but all agencies will still perform real-time inspections to address any immediate public safety concerns.

To me, these type of inspections are, in the big scheme of things, more critical than looking for other illegal activities. If you can be reasonably sure that people can get more quickly out of a space or room if there is a fire or a shooting or anything other situation where panic and overcrowding will cause the deaths of innocents, you've saved lives.
