We often hear the phrase, 'Israeli-Palestinian conflict' everywhere - in the media, from Israeli officials, written in articles, repeated by foreign policy think tanks, and U.S. politicians. It is ubiquitous.
They are all incorrect. A 'conflict' indicates two equal sides laying credible claim over a disputed issue. Thus, the false phrase equates Jews with terrorists and terrorist supporters. And, the incorrect saying plays into revisionist history in an antisemitic fashion.
Terrorists and their supporters claim that Israel 'stole' 'Palestine.'
But 'Palestine' was nothing more than a colonizer's term for Judea from 136 A.D. - to when Jews liberated Israel in 1948 from British occupiers. And, yes, Jews living in Israel during the aforementioned time period were known as 'Palestinians.'
Antisemites believe that Gaza is also 'Palestine.' False. Gaza legally under U.N. Article 80, still belongs to Israel, and has been Jewish land historically since 145 B.C. Gaza has been occupied by Arab settlers since 1948, mostly from Egypt.
Similarly, Judea and Samaria, in the ancestral heartland of Israel, are often mislabeled as 'Palestine' pertaining to some false 'homeland' of Arab 'Palestinians' -- when no such ethnicity or singular group exists.
Gazans are mainly from Egypt, but some are from Saudi Arabia, and some are Israeli Arabs who fled voluntarily when Arab armies invaded in 1948. The Israeli-Arabs hail from 25 different Muslim countries. The Arab settlers in Judea and Samaria are mostly Jordanian occupiers; about 30% to 40% of 'Arabs' in Judea and Samaria are genetically Jews who were converted to Islam in the 11th century and who live as Arabs.
It was not until 1967 when the KGB launched an antisemitic campaign against Israel called 'Operation SIG' that a false 'national liberation' movement was created,

Just because Arabs in the Levant have been cursed with bad government is no justification for its confiscation or other theft.
International law was radically different in 1967 than it was in 1945 (or 1948).
Every person should receive just and fair treatment by government.
Gaza was part of the Ottoman Empire for centuries until end near the end of WWI.
Jews that are 90% European may still have a moral right to return to Jewish ancestral lands, but Arabs with legal title should not be tossed off of individual parcels of land in the Levant acquired by then clearly legal means.

OK, of the Arabs living in what is now considered, Israel, how many of them with legal title to individual parcels of land were tossed off?

A lot of that land was personally owned by Jews who bought it from the Ottomans who owned it in the 1800s. They were forced out by the Jordanian government back in 1948.
This is not the same as what happened in Israel in 1948 where the Arabs were asked to stay. No, these Jews who were living on land they personally owned and they were forced to leave. Never got fair market value for it or any of the stuff they were forced to leave behind.

Let’s get this straight — We agree that Arabs owned a portion of land in Palestine prior to 1948. How large and WHO owned what needs to be determined in order to remedy any injustce.
However, land ownership patterns were complex and varied throughout the region. Some land was purchased, some inherited, and some held through traditional communal arrangements.

Following the UN vote for the partition of Palestine in 1947 and the subsequent declaration of Israeli independence in 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced from their homes. This displacement occurred due to various factors, including the outbreak of war between Arab states and Israel in 1948 that led to widespread violence and displacement on both sides.
Some Arab-Palestinians fled their homes due to fear of violence, while others were reportedly expelled by Israeli forces during the 1948 war.
So, Determining the exact number of Palestinians displaced and the specific reasons behind their displacement in each case is challenging due to incomplete data and ongoing historical debate.
But by insisting that Israel be expelled from the “River to the Sea”, Hamas and Fatah aren’t helping this situation even if the Israeli government wanted to remedy this

As for “a lot”, Jews in the modern era always faced much resistance in acquiring land in Palestine. It is my understanding that Jews were only able to acquire prior to the end of the Mandate about 20% of the higher quality land.
Feel free to describe by links or direct listing any properties lawfully acquired by Jews prior to 1967 that were unjustly taken under Jordanian power.
As a conservative, I value fairness, honesty and facts.
Israel enacted laws like the Absentee Property Law (1950) and the Land Acquisition (Compensation) Law (1963) to manage land deemed abandoned or left by Palestinian refugees during the 1948 war. While these laws provided compensation or alternative land in some cases, the anti-Israel critics argue they disproportionately favored Jewish ownership and didn’t adequately address pre-war Palestinian landownership.
Heck, the Israeli government has supported initiatives to improve land access and development for the Arab community. However, critics argue that discriminatory policies and practices still hinder equitable land ownership.
In fact, Land restitution was a key point in past peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs, with proposals for land swaps, compensation, and return of refugees.
These were all interrupted by regular attacks against Israel including several Intifadas and Rockets being fired at Israeli cities.
And there’s the issue of the Palestinian right of return, enshrined in UN Resolution 194, which remains a major sticking point in negotiations. While Israel recognizes the right of some displaced Palestinians to return, concerns about demographics and security have stalled progress on a comprehensive solution.
So yes, Finding a resolution to this complex issue will require continued dialogue, recognition of historical injustices, and a commitment to equitable land rights for both Israelis and Palestinians.
But the Arab-Palestinian leadership is only making the situation worse by their non-stop attacks ( including the latest one by Hamas ) against Israel.

It is most unfortunate that Israel did not make a better (i.e. a more financially generous) effort to voluntarily acquire land circa the late 1940s.
My point is — any attempt to rectify the situation should begin with accepting ONE NON-COMPROMISING FACT -— ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO EXIST IN THE LAND IT NOW OCCUPIES AS AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY.
Only when this truth is acknowledged can the process of remedying any past injustices proceed peacefully and onjectively.
Absent this one requirement, those Arabs who have been displaced because of the unfortunate circumstances of war cannot be compensated.
The chant of “From the river to the sea” ( which even Americans parrot ) is only making the matter worse.
