Well, Amazon is smiling.
And it is so nice to shop from phone or computer.
Too much of the ‘quality’ at Amazon is flea market crap... that’s the price we’re paying for losing our stores.
I’ll say one thing about Amazon. They’ve got what you need.
Awhile back I was looking for a simple tie clip. Nothing fancy. And I like to buy local. So I went to a few local department stores. Spent half the day looking. No tie clips, except for one at a jewelry store at $50. Crazy.
Then I went to Amazon. Hundreds to choose from. I bought a nice one there for around $5.
“And it is so nice to shop from phone or computer.”
No kidding. Now and them I’m tempted to go find something I need locally. After driving around for two or three hours and visiting five or six stores, I ask myself “Why the hell am I doing this?”
Then I go home, order what I need on Amazon in a couple of minutes, and it’s at my door the next day or the day after that.
