The Ukrainian Financial Panic
Armstrong Economics ^ | 31 Dec23 | Martin Armstrong

Posted on 12/31/2023 6:46:27 PM PST by delta7

I have warned that Zelensky will go down in history as the evil ruler he truly is. And for those who constantly want to pretend this is Russian propaganda, tell that to the 500,000 Ukrainian soldiers who are dead and all the broken homes Zelensky has left behind, along with the 8 to 10 million who have fled Ukraine. Worse still, he is making it a criminal act to flee the country and avoid his draft to justify the EU arresting Ukrainians and deporting them back to be sent to their death on the front lines.

The idea of drafting another 500,000 Ukrainians to be sacrificed on this Neocon Altar for nothing more than a territorial grab of the Donbas is causing absolute panic sweeping the country. Zelensky’s penalties are to be introduced for those who refuse to comply.

Ukraine’s financial system is on the brink of collapse. Our Ukrainian sources are reporting that there has been a run on ATMs in Ukraine. Apparently, Ukrainians have withdrawn about a billion dollars from their accounts in a single day! We are looking at a financial crisis unfolding in the Ukrainian banking and financial system thanks to Zelensky’s legislation intended to force conscription to raise another 500,000 people to be sent to the frontline. As part of this bill, Zelensky intends to isolate people who evade the draft by removing them from carrying out any financial transactions or selling property.

As a result of Zelensky’s proposed law, Ukrainians are in a state of panic. They have been plundering their accounts and are now hoarding cash and abandoning the banks. Our model warns that Ukraine will NEVER succeed in this war, and it may no longer even survive as a nation-state post-2026. Indeed, 2026 is showing up on both the ECM for Ukraine as well as on the ECM based entirely on the beginning of this proxy war against Russia. Zelensky’s new law also lowered the age and introduced three months of basic training for 18 to 25-year-olds.

The conscription age is to be lowered from 27 to 25 years; The introduction of basic three-months-long military training for all Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 25 in every educational establishment; The introduction of optional military service for persons aged under 25 who were not able to complete basic military training;

It does not matter how many Ukrainians Zelensky throws into this meat grinder. Ukraine will NEVER prevail over Russia. The West knew this would be the outcome. They were simply using Ukraine to weaken Russia for the kill, which they hoped would be delivered by NATO. That is why they are now prodding the Baltic states to wage war with Russia to justify NATO troops to engage Russia head-on. Financial support is waning because they know Ukraine is just cannon fodder.

Zelensky is becoming perhaps the most hated Ukrainian leader to date. I would not put it past a coup unfolding with his assassination that they would probably try to blame on Putin.

Many in the government now see that this has never been about protecting the Ukrainian people. Even the local Ukrainian Press published a story about how Boris Johnson came from England to kill any peace deal. This has been nothing about just sacrificing Ukrainians to weaken Russia.

When we compare the Ukrainian and Russian currencies, we can see that the critical climax of the Ukrainian financial crisis appears to be by March, which is the time of the Russian election. We may see this push to raise another 500,000 Ukrainians to be sent to the front lines as the driving force that coincides with the Russian election, whereas May 7th is the swearing-in date of the next term for the President of Russia.

Today is the last day to get out of Ukraine and there are many people flooding into Poland as women too can be conscripted.

There’s a video of a Ukrainian with Down’s syndrome in a trench and it’s really depressing to see this war going on and on because the alternative is NATO conceding and giving Russia all it wants (the Donbass). NATO is suggesting that they could attack Russia, but they frankly don’t have the balls to do it as they’re dealing with the Houthis, Israel, and Europe’s own fragmentation from the US.

Then there’s winter approaching and the EU needing power because of their own (Germany mostly) stupidity in believing some high school drop out about climate change.

Whatever else anyone believes about the Ukraine war, it’s breath-taking to read the blame for the catastrophic results of an invasion being laid at the feet of the resistors of the invasion.

Here is what is wrong with this article.

1) Financial gurus always like to toss around the word “collapse”, and it is never defined. It is very hard for any country with a Central Bank to “collapse”. Money can be created from nothing so people can eat. So neither Russia nor Ukraine are going to economically “collapse”. It is just wrong. Not absurd. Wrong.

2) No one knows what the casualty count is for both sides. Russia does not know Ukraine’s losses and Ukraine does not know Russia’s losses. They know their own. Certainly no one online or quoting anything from online knows anything.

3) Zelensky is not evil. He came to power as a Swamp drainer and defeated the US preferred candidate, who had been installed as a puppet in the 2014 coup. He then got co-opted, mostly via foreign aid. And then in December 2021 he said he would pursue nuclear weapons. It was probably a nearly accidental speech and not vetted by the US, but that’s what was in his speech and that cemented the war.

4) From that point on he has tried to be a stalwart defender of his country, though likely peace negotiations he was willing to pursue were denied him by the UK and things went well past co-opting.

5) A coup seems likely. His military people will first kill all the CIA and MI6 people present (who are expecting it and thus making it very difficult) and then try to run the country technocratically, flowing Russian gas and collecting transit fee. Life will return to 2013 normal.

The catastrophic results are SOLELY a result of our meddling in Ukraine and our repeated attempts to kill peace deals.

If you don't realize that, you're either pathetically ignorant or lying.

Either way, you're defending the failure aggression of the Biden regime and greed of our elite, making you a disgusting evil human being. How many of you just as evil HERE is what is breathtaking and sickening.

Project Ukraine is the brain child of the globalist elite, which every bit as bad as the old Soviet Union used to be.

.
Further

Zelensky ran on an anti-corruption platform and it was leaked that he had off-shore accounts himself.

He has opposed (and ignored) his anti-corruption bureau.

He has cancelled Elections.

“ the catastrophic results of an invasion…”

Few are blaming the common foot soldiers, we are blaming the piss poor leadership of Zelinsky who didn’t have the brains to honestly evaluate his countries abilities to defend itself WITHOUT the massive financial aide of the US taxpayer.

Zelinksky, in my book, is wholly responsible for the tragic events of this war, when he should have at least attempted to negotiate some sort of deal with crazy Ivan.

We have a Planet record $35 Trillion in Debt and a quickly darkening future - and the Ukraine funding is unethical and unsustainable. The way lots of the money has been lost is Illegal.

Corruption explains the enthusiasm of US Politicians and Biden to dump money on Ukraine, which will be lost whether is $5 Million or $5 Trillion.

When ever we get involved in Europe’s mess it turns to sh!t and we end up footing the entire bill and carrying the fighting load and then get bitched out 10 ways to Sunday that we could have done it better, shouldn’t have gotten involved, ow reparations and rebuilding, etc., etc. etc.

Armstrong misrepresenting sources he won't link to, because it will show he is twisting words and meaning.

Its not 500,000 Ukrainian dead. According to the NYT (here's the link Armstrong won't give) the war hast cost 500,000 dead and wounded on both sides, not Ukraine alone. According to the NYT, Russia has 300,000 and Ukraine 200,000 total casualties, dead and wounded.

No wonder Armstrong won't post the link, when he twists meaning so badly. When checking the source shows Armstrong is clearly lying, why trust anything he says? If Ukraine had a half million dead, it would mean in the range one and a half million other wounded. If there were two million total Ukrainian causalities Russia would have already won.

Armstrong likes to make his economic confidence model whatever he wants it to be. Economics, war, voting, elections whatever he wants. One of his tricks is to claim he made a prediction, and that his model proved it. When in fact, he never made a public prediction beforehand.

A coup seems likely.

Zelensky's five-year term ends on May 20, 2024. If he's still in power after that, he will probably be overthrown or assassinated.

The Russian army is in the oblasts of the Russian Federation - Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Luhansk, the Russian Republic of Crimea and the Russian federal city of Sevastopol.

Not in the Ukraine.

Martin Armstrong.

“Under the terms of the agreement, Armstrong admitted to deceiving corporate investors and improperly commingling client funds—actions that according to prosecutors resulted in commodities losses of more than seven hundred million dollars—and was sentenced to five years in prison.“

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_A._Armstrong

This is not to say Ukraine is winning; things are not looking good. With Ukraine’s main ally being the Brandon administration doesn’t help matters at all.

That being said Martin Armstrong blows a lot of smoke and is not to be believed.
