Associated Propagandists are spinning this story desperately to pin the tale on the honkey. No sale. What they abhor is that attention to Gay’s conduct made it impossible “not to see”.
Claudine Gay, AP, and the left in general, need to face up to the fact that her own actions, beliefs, and statements were her undoing.
Committing plagiarism, showing professional and moral inadequacy, sunk Gay, not being charged with it. Playing with the distinction to obscure her culpability (and salvage the ruins of her “career”) is pathetic.
Gay chose moral relativism, invoking “context” to evade consequences for Harvard’s finest who made blatant anti-Semitic, anti-Israeli, genocidal threats in support of the Palestinians’ terrorist missile/murder/rape attacks. By protecting such trsh, she showed herself to be a moral nullity. No help from Conservatives required.
Mega-wealthy Jewish Democrat donors to Harvard forced her out. Perhaps they were sickened to have given Harvard millions only find that in the opinion of thousands to its students and faculty, Jews deserved to be murdered en masse.
Gay’s refusal to condemn this made it impossible not to see her true hypocrisy, spinelessness, and utterly perverted sense of moral leadership.
Harvard is not funded by Conservatives. It’s Board and most of its faculty would find the notion that Conservatives “think” to be risible; they give not a rat’s arse about Conservatives’ opinions.
The left, and all their bosom buddies, need to come to grips with the facts that outright
rejection of Western values (in the person of Claudine Gay) has enormous consequences.
Harvard’s Brave New World failed spectacularly.
Harvard has lost its honor, its academic preeminence and faces problems yet to
surface when it chose to burden itself with the cumbersome baggage of Claudine Gay.
To blame this on conservatism is preposterous.
Conservatism did not make Claudine say and do the things that contributed to her fall from grace.
Rather Claudine Gay was taking her cues from liberalism. She disdained and demeaned
cultural norms, and appeared to have not even a modicum of limits on her behavior.
IOW, a perfect liberal.
