So. Use by, best by and out-of-date warnings don’t matter now?
In any case, the Government should not be funding or assist in funding abortions with taxpayer money, period.
Are they gonna get advance provision for STDs, too...?
Yes.
“If the jobless, homeless, irresponsible women who got pregnant have to pay the fees, the clinics know they WON”T get paid”
So if the same jobless, homeless woman is forced to have a child we taxpayers will pay $60,000+ per year in welfare benefits. The taxpayers are on the hook for 18 years of welfare to include free section 8 housing, SNAP, CIP, TANF and a slew of educational benefits. Read that as 100% free college for that mother. No state anywhere is going to not pay full welfare benefits to a jobless homeless woman it’s her ticket to 18 years of free benefits. It’s a hugely better deal to give that woman $25 in genetic medication early on before week 10 and send her on her way. So the over under is $25 in pills vs $60000*18=$1,000,000 the choice is clear from a fiscally conservative view point.
Want to save babies work with your church to reach out to at risk mothers and then don’t abandon them once the baby is born keep supporting them to find work, provide them child care options so they can work and provide for themselves a stable living system. Far too often the right says you must have this baby then once it’s born abandons the woman. They say our job here is done good luck raising that baby and don’t even think about asking for welfare it’s your fault you got pregnant. This is a losing position every time. You will only get people fired up to crawl over broken glass to throw out the “old white men” legislating their narrow view of mortality. A morality as they see it based on a religion most of the country doesn’t believe in. 60% of Americans do not practice a regular religion that’s where we are.
The stick is a losing argument you must offer the carrot to the woman a way to keep the baby and not ruin her chances at career/educational advancement. The default is well give it up for adoption then sure we are back at point one foster care and youth homes are funded by us taxpayers in full. I don’t see the people demanding zero tolerance on abortion with 5+ adopted children with them walking the walk rather than just at demanding their views on morality.
“If they stockpiled BIRTH CONTROL pills instead, abortion pills would be totally unnecessary. Idiots.”
You do realize that birth control pills are only 98% effective even when taken at the same time every day for the full female cycle. There are still thousands of break through pregnancy every day. My first wife took the pill same time every day for years. We conceived twice in the pill it’s not 100% , condoms at even lower at 96% or less even when used perfectly every time manufacturing defects still exist in a percentage of every one sold. The IUD is also less than 100% it’s 99% for most as low as 95% in some.
The simple truth is no one is going to be celibate until the time they want to have children. Married couples who want the option of planning when and on their terms they start their families also demand a back up too birth control failures. Plan B is not an option since you are expecting the primary BC to work. This is why the two pill sequence is so sought after it’s medically nearly identical to a heavy period flow it’s not hard on the loans body nor are their any real risk of long term damages to the uterus. The pills simply prevent the full implantation of the egg and trigger the natural period cycle. Most people don’t hold any special meaning to the egg and implantation process.
There is a reason the pills are only for ten weeks and under there is zero medical difference to a naturally failed implantation these happen well over 50% of the time naturally and no one notices it.
Or a chemically induced period cycle after ovulation << this is what birth control pills do EVERY cycle regardless of if sperm reached the egg or not and joined with it. Or a chemically induced period after the egg has landed on the uterus lining and is about to implant. Medically the body see all as nearly identical. The only reason for the first pill in the two pill sequence is to stop the implantation process the second pill does exactly what regular birth control does every month. If the far right zealots want less clinical abortion procedures then making birth control, plan B, and the two pill sequence as easy to get as possible is the way to do that. The sexual genie is out of the bottle it’s not going back and to fail accept that is what is costing us this country. Fraud is a problem but it’s not the only reason we are getting swamped at the polls with single issue voters. Make compromise as Trump wants too and move the F on for goodness sake.
We need to change our platform and recognize Roe vs Wade as a states' rights issue and advocate the pro-choice issue nationally.
stockpiling abortion pills, it isn’t enough that any man would not come in a mile of these pukes let alone have any physical contact with them. Dream on...........
Ha! ;)
Thanks for the response. I was arguing the reasoning for the FED involvement in the issue, and you are arguing about the morality of the issue.
I agree with much of what you say,but if women had to pay for these abortions, I bet they would be much more careful about getting pregnant.
Now, if only we could figure out how women get pregnant, we could provide a better solution. Maybe some day scientists will get to the bottom of this.
: )
You are talking about situations where the female is thinking AHEAD (being responsible). Those who want abortion pills want them because they do not 'think ahead'.
This is what the dims will run on from now on.
The simple answer is to make all forms of birth control as easy to get as possible. Be that pills OTC along with plan B OTC, with teledoc being able to FedEx Plan C two pill sequence within 10 weeks of a woman’s last cycle at near zero cost to the woman nationwide. Also include IUD , the Nevo ring, and the hormone implants from county or city clinics that are zero cost to low income and net zero cost for everyone else who’s sexually active. This is how you drastically reduce the need and even the desire for clinical abortions. Fact is people are going to have sex be them married or not. Empower them to make smart choices that doesn’t demand 18 years of welfare from us the net tax payers. I’d.glady have the Fed,state, country,or city pay for birth control pills or plan B/C vs 18 years of welfare. That’s a win for fiscal conservatives every day of the week.
