Mynd you, Mëryl Kørnfield bites Kan be pretti nasti...
Seems like being against vicious racial discrimination means you are not against white supremacy. Meaning what he actually said is reported according to the reporter’s interpretation.
I am liking this guy more and more.
“...this is why people have lost trust [in the media].”
He could easily substitute politicians in that slot also.

I like the strategy of never missing an opportunity to use the press’s microphone to criticize the press.
It used to be ineffective because they could just edit it out. But now with independent video producers on YouTube and elsewhere, they can’t do that.
Guess who started that? What’s his name... it’ll come to me.
I would suggest that the bulk of the article...was probably written four weeks ago and timed to be near the Iowa caucus period. They knew how he’d answer.
On the other hand...he’s making the key point...the news media isn’t there to report reality. They need to drive a narrative.
Pierre Poilievre does a beautiful job of it.
Education: University of Florida, BS in Journalism
If she wasn’t going to do that, she would not have asked the question.
James O’Keefe?
LOL!
Since when is journalism a science?
I am liking this guy more and more.
I know right?
I can echo that sentiment. There’s a contingent among the righteous FR’s here that detest this guy. I remain open minded. He’s earned some respect by the way he handles himself, and his skillful use use of language. He’s got all the right positions. But apparently he’s got a history that make people suspicious of him.
Also... she employed the strawman.
She lied about what he said and then attacked that lie.
Are White Men Gods? (II): Getting the Facts Straight

I saw an interview with Vivek not long ago that makes sense. He was asked about why he recently has changed his views. His response was that he used to believe what was said in the main stream news until he started looking at it critically. He noticed news was mostly propaganda. The deeper he looked, the more his views changed. That seems very reasonable and plausible to me.
Ditto! Trust but verify.
He says many wise things.
