Sean Hannity keeps telling us that the field agents are good guys. These same field agents have raided Mara Largo and many conservatives in SWAT type raids. Who are the good guys in the FBI? If I were an agent I would refuse to do such and full well knowing I would be fired.
I for one think, the FBI should be destroyed with the exception of its forensics labs to assist law enforcement agencies. It should then be recreated under total strict supervision of Congress and total openness to the public.
The good the FBI has done is now much less than the bad it is doing right now today. It must be destroyed and recreated for good. Today it is evil.
Ten years ago if I was questioned by an FBI agent I would have totally cooperated as I thought them honest. Today I would say, “ I will speak to you when my lawyer is at my side, I do not trust you.”
Forsenics labs should be under the Secret Service.
All other FBI agents can get a job working for TSA at airports so they'll stay busy.
But yes, I think it's time to dismantle the FBI. Many of their functions can be handled by different alphabet agencies in D.C.
