Democrats' star J6 witness waived attorney privilege, opening door for GOP inquiry, memos show

As the Jan. 6 congressional investigation rushed to a close in 2022, one of the House Democrats' star witnesses waived her attorney-client privilege with her first lawyer in a move that could now open the door for House Republicans to question both her and her attorney, correspondence obtained by Just the News shows.

Former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony played a large role in shaping House Democrats' final report sharply criticizing Donald Trump for the Capitol riot that ensued on Jan. 6, 2021, but Republicans on the House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight led by Chairman Barry Loudermilk recently discovered an errata sheet she submitted to Congress that made substantial changes to her account midway through the Democrat-led inquiry. Errata sheets are routinely provided to deponents and witnesses by stenographers to allow for correction of typographic errors and dropped words.

"Pursuant to Federal Rule of Evidence 502(a)(1), this letter will confirm that our client, Cassidy Hutchinson, is waiving the attorney-client privilege regarding all communications with her previous counsel, Stefan Pasantino, between February 7, 2022, and June 8, 2022," Hunt wrote the committee led by then-Chairman Bennie Thompson D-Miss.

The Left, Democrat, Biden, Obama, and Pelosi election fraud and steal of the Tuesday, November 3, 2020 vote and election was the REAL insurrection and the REAL assault on the right and freedom of the American People to choose their President!!!!

The N3rds (”Nerds”?) should be the ones the corrupt DOJ should be going after...

I've still got an unused roll with Ø's image on it.

A couple of things

Attorney-client privilege lies solely with the client. If it is properly waived by the client, the barnyard door is open to examination and cross examination.

Hutchinson's prior attorney filed a civil complaint alleging invasion of privacy and civil conspiracy. I'm guessing that both causes of action will be dismissed in a motion for summary judgment.

Wait. Does this mean Trump didn’t attack his driver?

If I recall correctly, Hutchinson testified to one story which exonerated Trump and then someone approached her and told her she should change attorneys(to one they recommended). After she retained new counsel her story totally changed and she said it was her first attorney who gave her the initial testimony. The democrats insisted her first attorney waive attorney/client privilege so he could be questioned. That insistence may come back to haunt them.

I may have some details of the story incorrect, but I’m pretty sure the above is how it transpired.

All evidence about J6 end up with the spot lights on Nancy Pelosi.

Biden and his handlers need to get hit on all fronts continuously and simultaneously. They don’t have enough highly skilled liars, and Biden’s capacity to multitask is… questionable.

Doesn’t matter one bit. She can lie all she wants under oath and the DOJ won’t prosecute her regardless of who is President. Totally partisan and corrupt.

She seems mainly to be using the errata sheet to add to or amend answers she provided in the deposition. Those aren’t a court reporter’s typos.

So she lied in one version of the day’s events. Isn’t that perjury?

If Trump wins then he can fire all the US attorneys. He didn't fire all of them in 2021 (I think Clinton did). If he did fire all of them he needs RINO votes in the senate to confirm them. Romney will be gone. Interesting to see who the new AG would be.

The federal attorney prosecuting Biden’s loser son was basically told to let it go and I imagine if he didn’t, life for the prosecutor and his family would be one of blackballing, smearing, and harassment from the FBI Stormtroopers.

That would be the required first question on cross examination. “Were you lying then or are you lying now?”

Re-open J6 and flip the script.

This isn't the only 'uh-oh' moment -- the original Committee left out reams of info the Color Teams (no joke: Blue Team, Purple Team, etc.) freaked out over when it was purposefully excluded from the final report:

November 2022, the Millenial and Gen Z congressional staffers who had worked the J6 Committee, put up a brief but furious bitch to the few MSM outlets that would give them a platform, that the bulk of their J6 work had been ignored. Nanxi gave them cutesy rainbow team names and everything lofl.

The Craphounds at the CraPo got wind of this and published a Page 2 piece:

"Fifteen former and current staffers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, expressed concerns that important findings unrelated to Trump will not become available to the American public."

"Potentially left on the cutting room floor, or relegated to an appendix, were many revelations from the Blue Team — the group that dug into the law enforcement and intelligence community’s failure to assess the looming threat and prepare for the well-forecast attack on the Capitol. The proposed report would also cut back on much of the work of the Green Team, which looked at financing for the Jan. 6 attack, and the Purple Team, which examined militia groups and extremism."

Simply subpoena ALL of those Team members and tell them to bring EVERYTHING. Once that is granted, then bring Nanzi in as well.
