Unconstitutional because it’s overly broad.

I agree this is overly broad.
However, cops have a LONG history of use of anabolic steroids and human growth hormone leading to Roid-Rage.
Many wife abusers are COPS hopped up on Roids. Ever wonder where the description of cops as “Knuckle Dragging Badge Monkeys” came from??
NY needs to name specific substances and blood levels. Enough of the broad brush crap from Adams.

No one gets “hopped up on roids.” That’s all George Bush I fear mongering.
Tylenol has killed way more people than steroids.

"nutritional supplements" Nutritional supplements..... Does that include things like Vitamin B, C, D, Omega 3 pills?
The Anabolic Steroid ban, I get, but the rest?????
I had to deal with a 'roided up' cop once in Henderson Nevada. Scared the heck out of my wife.

Lyle Alzado would disagree, I think.

Avoiding having officers with ‘roid rage is understandable. But the wrong substance you can get at a health food store? Creatine, HMB, etc. could get you in trouble? Way too broad. The actual banned substance should be listed.
To: nickcarraway
NYC doesn’t seem to want any police. 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah.
i take creatine before workouts, it helps recovery. Hardly an illegal substance.
They make this sound like cops are all juicing it. No doubt many are, they know where to get the stuff.

And what about guys with naturally high T levels? Look at my labs and you’d think I was taking steroids. (Doctor said it’s a medical condition)
