I had a scheduled major surgery years ago. I would be away from work for about two weeks. My boss knew when I would be out the approximate date I would return etc. Lloyd Austin is many things but stupid is not one of them. Something else is going on that we have no idea about.

In addition when I had an elective procedure with one day away, my boss knew. If something had of gone wrong my wife would have kept my boss informed. As mentioned above, something is going on that we do not know about.
