If Austin is in ‘severe pain’, I doubt he’s getting much work done, unlike what they’re claiming.
On the other hand, the less he does, the less likely this bunch is to get World War 3 started.
Cancer near the a-—hole. That could be fatal for a capital A A—hole.
Some info - might be true - might not - Russian source - he was killed in Ukraine. Need to see if he appears in public ever again?
Multiple ways to treat prostate cancer depending on risk benefit ratio.
-watchful waiting
- biopsy
- prostatectomy (cut it out)
-radiation pellets
“If he had just been HONEST from the beginning...”
Did Austin misrepresent ...or some political flunkies?
“Not sure why they initially said Austin had an elective surgery.”
Because the VA doctors speak with you, explain the situation and ask what you want to do?
He’s not property or a barnyard animal.
“When the term “elective surgery” is used, it normally means something that isn’t medically necessary, such as a tummy tuck or nose job. Insurance companies rarely pay for elective surgery.”
I think you misunderstand the context of the situation. It was done at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. So it was not performed via private medical care/insurance but by members of the military and contracted medical personnel.
In that context “Elective” means just that. They describe it, discuss it and he approves. That’s how it goes in the military and VA -and many other health facilities. It’s not like he was rolled in unconscious from a car accident or to get a tummy tuck. The mediaidiots just seem to have thrown that adjective in there to lessen the severity of the situation.
Interesting. It would explain the odd responses - thanks for sharing.
Exactly. Now the question is, why did they try so hard to hide it?
Definitely infection
This story makes no sense. I don’t know what really happened, but the version they’re going with is probably a limited hangout.
In 2013 my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. His urologist got him a consult with the chief urologist at Cleveland Clinic, a Dr. Schmidt who invented the “robo surgery” for prostate removal. The surgery was anything BUT elective, or minimally invasive, even though the incisions were not huge, the internal trauma was significant. He was discharged home six days later. One month following this he complained of back pain, leg pain, and nausea/dizzyness. Testing revealed a mass on his right kidney. Back to Cleveland for partial nephrectomy, and removal of the tumor. He was cancer free for the next ten years. Praying for Sec. of Defense. Though I have no love for that man, I would not wish cancer on anyone.
AUSTIN LLOYD WENT TO UKRAINE AND WAS WOUNDED. He was there unofficially and hit by a missile strike.
NATO and the West have an OFFICIAL POSITION that no Western or NATO officers are in Ukraine.
Reports are close hold in Russia.
Another possible complication from a prostatectomy would be a bowel blockage, either physical or functional. The opioid pain meds, along with the reluctance to evacuate, could cause such a blockage, resulting in severe pain in the lower abdominal area (including hips and back) possibly with feculent vomiting and infection, of course. A genuine medical emergency - but not one that most people would like to detail publicly.
What would happen to an E 8 who sneaks off to get prostate surgery and didn’t tell his boss?
Under the current DOD organization, (McCain-Feingold Act in the 80’s) the operational command goes from the President, through the SecDef, to the operational commanders. (Centcom, Pacom, Euocom, and others. If the SecDef is unable to function and the President doesn’t know it, I believe it’s a major problem.
“Was the country at risk without Austin? Our people are being shot at and our ships attacked and nothing is happening.”
Interesting...
No sympathy in this case. He could have just picked up the phone.
(Is your sn inspired by Joseph Heller’s protagonist in Catch 22, or by Armenian/Assyrian ethnicity?)
