It would be quite nice to purge corporate America of all commies and marxists, while they are at it.
Meanwhile, my company fully embraces it. Maybe that will changes but I doubt it. They are in too deep.
ESG is for unserious companies with morons in leadership positions.
>>Oh my is wokeness dying,
Nope, just rebranding. When ‘communism’ became unpopular, they called it ‘socialism’, and when people realized that was basically the same thing, they called it ‘progressivism’ and then ‘social justice’...
From the article:
“Many CEOs stress that they continue to follow sustainability commitments made years ago—even if they are no longer talking about them as often publicly”
I want doctors, engineers, pilots, cops, the military and all others to be competent and I want my investments to earn money and grow. Simple as that. I don't give a hoot in hell how diverse they are or anything about ESG just as long as the are honest, moral, ethical and responsible. Anything else is waste of my money and not what I expect.
Extra sodium glutamate?
Al Sharpton complained a couple of weeks ago about how corporations were losing interest in DEI and were cutting off contributions. That’s one of the reasons he was so upset about the firing/resigning of Claudine Gay at Harvard.
What does ESG stand for?
Perhaps the pendulum has swung all the way left(for now) and a bit of sanity is returning?
They’ll come up with another acronym to rip off the gullible
Smoke & mirrors..
This crap is a long way from dying.
Consider the source, the WSJ is a shill for the left. This is just an attempt to divert attention from the wokism of corporate America.
Egregious Social Governance
ESG and DEI are evil concepts that should have no place in the USA.
