As on of those persons who don’t drive much at all and (almost) never venture far from home, I also utterly reject EV’s. When my wife and I visit our children who live over 800 miles away, we either fly or rent a car. For the reasons stated in the article, I would never rent an EV for one of those trips. I got a chuckle out of the end of the article:

“The truth is that EVs are a largely impractical choice for rentals as well as a more expensive option for the agencies. And as the nation’s largest car-rental company just found out, the truth Hertz.

“But I bet their ESG score in 2023 was awesome, dudezzz.”

I agree. This DIE (not “DEI”) bs is more invasive than most people know. It is being baked into or society at all levels.

And they are indoctrinating children and college students into it.
