I believe that each of these hotels has ballrooms for rent, is secured by the candidates security and that the candidates all get the GSA rate.

You know that a true high end hotel is $3000-4000/night. So $11K isn’t going to go very far.
There are facilities that a major campaign needs that budget motels don’t offer.
