The judge denied him a jury trial, did not allow him to plead innocent or present a defense, then defaulted him as being guilty.
Now the jury gets to decide how many billions of dollars he should give to the lying whore.

Yes. As an aside, recess has be called during Carroll’s testimony. In some jurisdictions, if there is a break during the testimony of a party or (adverse) witness the attorney can ask the party or witness if they had any conversations with anybody including opposing counsel and to recount the conversation to the jury.
Sadly, this just further shows Trump has no self control. It’s the second defamation case, for insulting this same woman, whether she deserves it or not. This is the perfect example of just digging your hole deeper. Nothing good is coming out of this. Just zip it, and it goes away. But he can’t control himself, and just keeps pushing it, and pushing it, even though there’s no upside. It’s a dangerous personality defect in the wrong situation.
If DeSantis had even a shred of decency, he would have spent the last four years expressing outrage at the way his fellow Republican and past President has been treated. The non-stop lies - the fake impeachments - the stolen election - the Fedsurrection - the bogus indictments - and the innocent J6 protesters rotting in a DC gulag.
But instead of rising in Trump’s defense and working to put him back in the White House where he belongs - he runs against him!
Shame on DeSantis and shame on his supporters. This attack of President Trump is an attack on the Republic - these Republican candidates - with the exception of Vivek - are aiding and abetting the enemy. Period.

That’s not what happened, and you know it. Trump needs to swallow his pride for once and get the hell out of there. This judge isn’t even going to break the trial for the funeral of his Mother in Law, so nothing is going to go his way in there. He should leave today, point out to the press on the courtroom steps, once, how ridiculous it is that they won’t break for the funeral, and never come back. The $10M should be pretty much nothing to him, but it’s only going to go up if he doesn’t put a sock in it. If he skips Melania’s mother’s funeral, to come back and show his ass some more, he’ll just look like a selfish fool.
