Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) told reporters Wednesday that he expects the Senate to consider a bipartisan deal on Ukraine funding and border security next week.
McConnell noted that Democrats control the Senate agenda but he stated his confidence that negotiators will unveil a deal on border security in the next few days.
“My assumption is we’re likely to be on that in the Senate next week,” he announced.
GOP leaders say the remaining sticking point is a disagreement over President Biden’s authority to parole migrants encountered at the southern border into the country.

Ukraine doesn’t need any money, they need soldiers, put forth legislation that conscripts the blood relatives between the age of 17-35 of every civilian Federal Employee in to the armed forces, give them a few weeks of training and then straight to the Front Lines in Ukraine, watch the WAR end overnight. As for Our Border, 100% closed and secure, Zero out the entire budget for the Department of Education and allocate those funds for Mass Deportations.
Yep, they will secure the Ukrainian border, and do nothing with the US border. Then brag that they are trying to secure the border.

There’s far more issues than that, even for the Senate.
I expect filibuster as 40 GOP feel the heat.
Not to mention it will never see a floor vote in the House.
Johnson would be doing GOP members of the Senate a favor by announcing it’s DOA in the House.
But, he may leave them hanging and holding a bag of sh!t, which would be MY preference.
