That said some of the rounds do fire, an extended hangfire of the dud round on the pile might scare the crew away. for a very long time.

Yes, but it's really not that hard to do. Won't give details because I don't want to teach some crazy lurker how to do it.

PS I have a couple engineering degrees and a lot of experience, so maybe my perspective is a little different.
