Zelenskyy calls Trump’s rhetoric about Ukraine’s war with Russia ‘very dangerous’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was worried by the prospect of Donald Trump returning to the White House, branding Trump’s claim that he could stop Ukraine’s war with Russia in 24 hours as “very dangerous.”

In an interview with the U.K.’s Channel 4 News that aired Friday, Zelenskyy invited the former president and front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination to visit Kyiv, but only if Trump delivers on his promise.

“Donald Trump, I invite you to Ukraine, to Kyiv. If you can stop the war during 24 hours, I think it will be enough to come,” Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian leader also shared his concern about the U.S. taking unilateral action that failed to consider Ukraine’s perspective, noting the dearth of details around Trump’s “peace plan.”

Zelenskyy described the former president’s rhetoric as “very dangerous” and appeared to be apprehensive that Trump’s idea of a negotiated solution might involve Ukraine making major concessions to Russia.

″(Trump) is going to make decisions on his own, without … I’m not even talking about Russia, but without both sides, without us,” Zelenskyy said. “If he says this publicly, that’s a little scary. I’ve seen a lot, a lot of victims, but that’s really making me a bit stressed.”

He added: “Because even if his idea (for ending the war) - that no one has heard yet - doesn’t work for us, for our people, he will do anything to implement his idea anyway. And this worries me a little.”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy needs to do more to ask EU for help, especially Germany. He has one year to do this.

Armistice

Plebiscites

The EU could try to influence the plebiscites by allowing Ukrainians to work in the EU to earn up to 50,000 Euros total or for two years total.

Russian factories are surely pouring out weapons.

Ukraine has been destroyed during a Biden presidency.

Now think about to what Ukraine was like when Trump was president.

Zalensky is an idiot and/or he's evil.

Yup.

The appropriate input from foreigners about how the United States go to war is - zero.

Here is what the web says when I queried how much money is missing:

According to the web search results, the United States has sent over $76 billion in funding and equipment to Ukraine through military, economic, and humanitarian aid since Russia’s invasion in 2022. The U.S. is the largest donor of aid to Ukraine, followed by the European Union, which has pledged about $50 billion. However, some of the aid packages have faced political delays and controversies in both the U.S. and the EU.
The $76 billion that the U.S. has sent to Ukraine is not missing, but it was overestimated due to accounting errors by the Pentagon. The Pentagon discovered that it had used the wrong method to calculate the value of the equipment it had sent to Ukraine in 2022 and 2023, resulting in an overvaluation of $6.2 billion. The Pentagon has corrected the errors and issued new guidance on how to properly value the equipment. The $6.2 billion will be added back to the future aid packages for Ukraine.

I am reminded by the old saying “Figures never lie, but liars figure.” Btw, I don’t believe in ‘finding’ 6 billion in equipment with ‘better accounting’. The prisons are filled with embezzlers who used ‘better accounting’ to enrich themselves. And Trump has the audacity to suggest that maybe even some Congress critters are enriching themselves. That is a new concept that has been used by the Military Industrial Complex since World War II.

“In an interview with the U.K.’s Channel 4 News that aired Friday, Zelenskyy invited the former president and front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination to visit Kyiv,”

Ahh yes, just how long would Trump’s life expectancy be if he visited Kyiv?

The democrats shamefully ended the Afghanistan war leaving Americans, allies and military equipment behind. If Trump ends the Uke war, he’ll be branded as a war criminal, there will be more false charges and 24/7 press coverage about how dirty and mean he is.
