Juzt reading those lyrics is pleasant.

And yet we can’t carry anything at all to protect ourselves from these GD’ animals?

Here’s the Frank Sinatra song. He had it on his “comeback” album after he returned from his retirement.

The conditions, the appearances, all seemed so very permanent back then.

They really did. Even parts of Oakland were cool and felt pretty safe. It sounds like that’s all in the past now.

Several of my co-workers and I were football fans and we’d meet on Sundays at a place called Ricky’s in San Leandro. They had a bazillion TVs and showed every single game. I never did get used to 10:00 a.m. kickoffs with breakfast, but we did have fun.

They recently opened an In-N-Out at the Woodlands Mall where the Sweet Tomatoes salad bar restaurant used to be. They tore down the old building and built the In-N-Out in its place. They snake the cars around the parking lot to manage the traffic inside the mall perimeter.

A very melanated neighborhood.

At some point, the "melanated" are going to recognize who is responsible for this and start lynching their own.

Sad.

In-N-Out noted in their statement that the Oakland location is busy and profitable (which, having eaten there, I believe), but In-N-Out is only calling it quits because they refuse to continue to subject their employees and customers to an unsafe environment.

In-N-Out is a highly ethical Christian company. I salute them for valuing people the way they do.

Essentially, if Oakland can’t get its act together with respet to crime, they don’t deserve an In-N-Out.

I had the pleasure of eating at the very first IN-N-Out back when they were new and the only one. IIRC it was in Bawldwin park Ca. My aunt lived right down the street so that’s the only reason we even tried it. They’ve always been a cut above in quality even way back then over 50 years ago.

Frank plays Frank!
Thanks.

I read a book by Barbara Sinatra:
My Life With Frank.
Barbara was his last wife.
That was a terrific book.
She should have written more, much more.

At least In-n-Out cares about their employees and customers.

Good for them. It is sad though. People love their food.

There were some stores at San Francisco's Westfield Mall (5th and Market) which gave the same reason for leaving.

Civilization is crumbling before our very eyes.

California is $68 billion in the hole and Newsom added $3 billion to that to provide ILLEGALS with FREE health care.

Roads all over the Bay Area are falling apart. It’s not hard to connect all the dots.

There is no longer a social contract with Californians and with the American people.

“They then alert accomplices, who pull up in a vehicle when the targets start to pump fuel. Often, they smash a rear window or pop the trunk of unlocked vehicles before making off with luggage and valuables. The thefts take just seconds.”

There was some Youtuber who chronicles Oakland’s blight (Nick Johnson?) who said the trash and items you see strewn on International Boulevard (formerly East 14th Street) are from pillaged rental cars.

The other day I was traveling along Grand Avenue in Oakland and saw a corner parking lot filled with what seemed to be a flea market with racks of clothing.

Those items are ending up somewhere.

You think Oakland Police will stop them?

getting a rental out of Philly is a nightmare if you want to top it off before you turn it in....very few gas stations and place where they might be is sketchy....better to just pay the ridiculous mark up gas....

so they ruined the In and Out?...nice going ferals....a decent place to eat and this is what you imbeciles do....

Okay I looked it up. The In-n-out in Bawldwin Park was est. 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder.
