Biden Admin Spent Whopping $20 Billion On Refugee Resettlement In Just Two Years
The Daily Caller ^ | January 23, 2024 | JENNIE TAER

The Biden administration has poured billions of taxpayer dollars into the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) since October 2022, according to a new report from Open the Books.

The Biden administration spent $8.925 billion in fiscal year 2022 and $10.928 billion in fiscal year 2023 on the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at ORR to accommodate, transport, and provide migrants with various other services like medical care and loans, according to the report, which was released Tuesday. In recent months, HHS has faced scrutiny for ORR’s alleged mishandling of cases of unaccompanied migrant children, some of whom have been released to poorly vetted sponsors where they are used for child labor, according to The New York Times.

Illegal immigration at the southern border has hit record highs under the Biden administration with federal authorities recording more than 2.2 million encounters of migrants crossing illegally in fiscal year 2022 and more than 2 million in fiscal year 2023, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics.

The agency has lost contact with 85,000 unaccompanied migrant children, according to the NYT. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has spent more than $5.5 billion separately in fiscal years 2022 and 2023 on unaccompanied migrant children, according to the Open the Books report.

Roughly enough money to have built a complete border wall.

Good thing they didn’t have student loans as well. Or the USSC would shut this crap down.

That’s the amount Obama got from BP for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

And the GOPe enabled every penny of it. Again and again and again as the decades roll by.

Ike once gave a speech where he compared the cost of a new bomber to the ability to build new elementary schools. The number was staggering.

A secure border would have saved us most of that money, which could have been spent on schools, housing, or any of the other things that the left says they want.

In addition, a secure border would have saved the lives of a good percentage (Lets say 30%) of the fentanyl deaths in the past year—so about 30,000 people.

Immigration when done properly is good for the country. Immigration when well done is a net plus for the country and the economy. The way we are doing it is not good.

$20 Billion taxpayer dollars not spent on: schools, roads, bridges, helping poor families, tax relief, national parks, etc.

Lower my taxes. Freedom over what has made citizens into serfs and slaves.

How does Biden have an unlimited budget when Trump had to fight tooth and nail to spend a fraction of this on the security wall?

Did Democrats fight Trump while Republicans roll over?

“Spend-crazy Biden” has poured a gargantuan $20 billions US tax dollars into federal Refugee Resettlement agencies since October 2022 (according to Open the Books).

We can safely assume “America-last Biden” did not know ......and did not care.....that the tax dollars of struggling US taxpayers were returned (in the form of wired tax-free “remittances”) to the migrants’ Third World countries of origin.

Imagine if that money had been available to help wounded and homeless veterans.

Instead our vets have been booted out of lodgings to make way for the illegal aliens democrats are bringing in to replace us.

“Biden Admin Spent Whopping $20 Billion On Refugee Resettlement In Just Two Years”

Homeless Vets in need of care
Poor Seniors in need of care.
Battered spouses & children in need of care.
Drinking water systems need replacement.
Toxic/polluted sites needing remediation.
Ports/Bridges/Highways need maintenance.
on and on and on . . .

and 35% of our fellow citizens continually vote for this crapola.

One group wants to follow the US Constitution, the other wants a different path.
I say let them go, but they can’t be part of our America.

20 B to bring in replacement voters. It’s a simple as that and the short sighted idiots in the GOPe protected the stolen election because it got rid of Trump.
