WASHINGTON (AP) — The United States is out of money for Ukraine, unable to send the ammunition and missiles that the government in Kyiv needs to fend off Russia's invasion.

With the aid caught up in domestic politics, the Biden administration on Tuesday came empty-handed for the first time as host of the monthly meeting of about 50 nations that coordinate support for Ukraine. The group was established by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in April 2022.

The Ukraine is not our ally.

Heck. It isn’t even our friend.

Did that guy Lloyd Austin even get questioned as to why he hid his hospital stay without informing Biden? Is he getting fired or jailed?

Is Lloyd Austin even still alive?

I saw that rumor he got whacked by a Russian airstrike during a covert trip to meet with generals in Ukraine.

It hasn't been officially denied yet so it must not be true. But it makes for an interesting story. Sort of like a cheap novel.

So where is the guy?

So after that whole hospital visit he hasn’t been seen or heard from again? Why isn’t anyone asking Karine Jean Pierre AKA the black Raggedy Anne doll?

AssPress is being disingenuous. If Congress approves money for Ukraine tomorrow, the US can provide a few missiles and very small amounts of ammunition to Ukraine. The immediate problem is not money, but manufacturing capacity.

Biden could easily SHUT DOWN the Education Dept, Dept of Energy and the EPA and use those funds for the Ukraine Money Laundering machine

Let those other “about 50 nations” pony up the cash, the ammo, whatever.

I’m pretty sure that’s down the memory hole by now. We may never hear of it again.

Yeah, our countries manufacturing capacity isn’t what it use to be.
I say this as a manufacturer who is unhappy about America’s bad attitude about manufacturing and industry in general.

Eventually & incrementally our current position will change or the United States will not maintain its status as a Great Power Nation.

He is working, but convalescing.

Video, or it never happened.

Maybe even with video it never happened.

His job requires public appearance from time-to-time. And it would lessen the controversy to show a current photo of Austin "working from home" or whatever it is he is doing. You know, a "salute to the troops" or something. "Steadfast public servant working through all adversity, blah blah blah". Reassurances.

He must have been really ill from whatever did happen to him. I doubt we have gotten anywhere close to the true story of what that was. Even the rumors are not really credible. The lapse in chain-of-command was unacceptable.

I hope he makes a full recovery.
