Bloggers with an interest in an area can do as well or better than general papers for the most part

And you have sports sites that do a better job than newspapers without the subscription fee. How many people used to put up with the weird editorials because of the sports page?

Here is an example of a site, run by volunteers that gets more traffic than many newspaper sports pages.

Liberalism comes with a high cost.

They didn’t give a hoot when the poor white coal miners of WV lost their jobs because of government regulations and they sure as heck didn’t care about the guys working in the oil field and pipelines who lost their jobs because of the “climate crisis” that they hyped.

So a bunch of propagandists lost their “jobs”.

Big fat furry deal.

Ad growth in the 2010s was unsustainably high, and publishers acted like it would last forever. It didn't. Now high interest rates are preventing them from taking on new debt to try to buy themselves time to figure it out.

Who said Bidenomics didn't have an upside?
