My Dad and I took a tour if this ship off the coast of Santa Barbara on July 4th weekend in 1982.

One of the launches in Santa Barbara Harbor had broken down so we had to wait all day, but it was worth it.

The ship you toured was the first ship the Navy named in honor of Chesty.

It was decommissioned and sold to Egypt.

This ship was the one that 2 Navy SEALS were attached to before they disappeared a couple of weeks ago.
