QUEENS, NY (TND) — A shocking arrest was made in an apparent homegrown terrorism case involving two brothers in Queens, New York.

Authorities said an arsenal of homemade weapons and a "hit list" listing "cops, judges, politicians, celebrities" and “banker scum” were found when the suspected anarchists were arrested at their home.

New York police arrested 39-year-old Andrew and 51-year-old Angelo Hatziagelis.

On January 17, a search warrant was served at their Astoria apartment that the brothers shared with their mother and another brother.

ODDLY, even though faux news has been reporting on this all day, I find no major outlets reporting it...

“The “hit list” wasn’t the only concerning piece of evidence found in the home.

A total of eight improvised explosive devises and bomb-making recipes, a police scanner, body armor, over 600 rounds of ammunition, and ghost guns, including assault rifles were located, announced Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz.

Katz also indicated that a notebook filled with anti-government conspiracies theories was also recovered.

Charles Manson, an American criminal who led a cult in California in the late 1960s, was mentioned in notebook, according other reports.”

LOL - a piece of paper with “HIT LIST” written in pencil, is now grounds for “domestic terrorism” charges and pearl clutching by media.

If that’s what Marxist DC now counts as evidence, everyone on FR is in deep trouble....

We’re gonna start seeing a lot more of this kind of thing due to it being an election year. The FIB loves to meddle.

That looks like a "hit list" for a D&D game.

if you read the article you’d see something more onerous than scribble...

List of items seized by law enforcement officials on January 17:

Eight operational improvised explosive devices (IEDs)
One partially constructed trip-wire IED
Two loaded AR-15 style ghost gun assault weapons, each with a detachable magazine, muzzle compensator and threaded barrel
Two loaded 9 mm semiautomatic ghost gun pistols
Two loaded 9 mm semiautomatic 3D printed ghost gun pistols
One partially constructed AK-47 style ghost gun
Over 600 rounds of ammunition for each of the firearms above
One 3D printer
Three sets of body armor
Six additional AR/pistol lower receivers
29 high-capacity ammunition feeding devices, 13 of which were personally manufactured utilizing a 3D printer
Tools to assemble ghost guns
Metal knuckles
A radio set to the frequency of the 114th Precinct in Astoria
Several electronic devices (phones, computer)
Numerous notebooks containing instructions on the manufacture of explosive devices and anarchist related propaganda
Explosive residue, and components to manufacture additional IEDs
Nine pyrotechnic smoke bombs
Prosecutors did not indicate if the Hatziagelis brothers were part of a terrorist organization.

Both were indicted on 130 counts of criminal possession of a weapon and related charges.

Both men face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

They’re expected in court on February 15.

Probably set up by the FBI.

That is always the way to bet. Without the FBI, I would be extremely surprised if these guys would have even considered the idea.

This is the only thing on the list that I have an issue with (However, we all should be fully aware that the FBI will lie and exaggerate and just make things up)If they were actually assembling "IEDs", and doing so could not accidently harm any innocent neighbors, I really don't care.
Eight operational improvised explosive devices (IEDs)
One partially constructed trip-wire IED

All the rest of this would be completely legal in a reasonably free country:
Two loaded AR-15 style ghost gun assault weapons, each with a detachable magazine, muzzle compensator and threaded barrel
Two loaded 9 mm semiautomatic ghost gun pistols
Two loaded 9 mm semiautomatic 3D printed ghost gun pistols
One partially constructed AK-47 style ghost gun
Over 600 rounds of ammunition for each of the firearms above
One 3D printer
Three sets of body armor
Six additional AR/pistol lower receivers
29 high-capacity ammunition feeding devices, 13 of which were personally manufactured utilizing a 3D printer
Tools to assemble ghost guns
Metal knuckles
A radio set to the frequency of the 114th Precinct in Astoria Several electronic devices (phones, computer)
Numerous notebooks containing instructions on the manufacture of explosive devices and anarchist related propaganda

Again, given the FBI's tendency to like and manufacture charges out of thin air, my only concern would be if they had nearby neighbors they could harm with improper handling of the following. Explosive residue, and components to manufacture additional IEDs
Nine pyrotechnic smoke bombs

Linky no worky, goes to 13WHAM all right, but no story found.

Was the story pulled because the brothers are a protected, uh privileged flavor of border crosser?
