IANAL, but how does this law not violate the Supreme Court rulings on Prior Restraint? There is a lot of case law saying that a law prohibiting release of information cannot be upheld unless it poses immediate danger. In this case, the Texas law doesn’t prohibit the release, it simply prohibits inquiry - that is basically the same thing. If you cannot ask, you cannot publish the information you would ask for. This should be appealed to the USSC.

Prior restraint means they can’t stop you from publishing it. They didn’t come after her here until she published.

Still a violation of her constitutional rights. Just not prior restraint.
