Okay, if true-why isn’t he deployed? The current situation would seem to be an “all hands on deck” one.

As I said, he might already have completed his service. Or perhaps he got a deferment.

But if hasn't, and if he lacks diplomatic immunity, he can always do his IDF service after a stint in a U.S. prison. They're two separate issues.
