Lab Origin: The Case is Even Stronger Now
brownstone.org ^ | 2/2/2024 | ALEX WASHBURNE

I had previously made the case that the totality of circumstances surrounding SARS-CoV-2 origins is sufficient for probable cause to believe the virus originated in a lab. In addition to the circumstances surrounding the origin of SARS-CoV-2, the evidence we lack for a zoonotic origin makes our case even stronger.

Outside the narrow lens of mainstream media outlets unable to cover this globally pertinent forensic case, the biggest scientific murder-mystery of the century is being solved.

New evidence has emerged to strengthen the lab origin case. The flawed papers claiming a zoonotic origin have been revealed as even more hopelessly flawed – while those of us independent subject matter experts could see this from the beginning, now it is becoming more obvious even to the lay public. Additionally, the lab-origin theory has made remarkable predictions about the contents of recently FOIA’d drafts of the DEFUSE grant.

The case for a lab origin is now clear enough that not only can we see the lab origin beyond reasonable doubt, but we are starting to accumulate evidence consistent with a cover-up, that this research-related accident was known to some who knew they funded the work, who knew they subcontracted the work, and who knew they did the work.

Let’s recap what we already knew, what’s new, and what we can reasonably deduce about who knew what and when.

The Fall of the Zoonotic Origin Papers

SARS-CoV-2 is a bat sarbecovirus that emerged in Wuhan far from the hotspots of wildlife bat sarbecoviruses, in a city without bats, at the doorstep of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the largest repository of bat sarbecoviruses in the world.

I’ve thought this was an accidental lab release since it started. Either through rats that came up the drains from the wetmaket into the lab, or employees selling dead rats to vendors to feed snakes in the wetmarket.

I thought this was already been confirmed that is was created in a lab. The only question that remains is whether it was released accidently or purposely. I lean heavily towards the latter personally.

I’ve always thought that it was poorly paid employees selling bats in the wet market for additional income after the bats’ use in the lab was done. Yes, they do sell and eat bats in that culture.

They’re already developing the “vaccine” for Disease X,

More likely, one or more lab workers infected themselves by accidental exposure or poor internal controls, and simply walked the virus out into the streets of Wuhan unwittingly. It took 3-5 days before symptoms appear (longer for severe symptoms) and there were reports that several of the virology center workers were hospitalized with flu symptoms in October or November of 2019.

By January of 2020 it was obvious there was an epidemic. China basically surrounded Wuhan with military to prevent people coming or going. In the USA elderly people in nursing homes were dying suddenly, with one of the first hotspots of morbidity being a nursing home in Washington state. By the end of January, Trump issued a travel moratorium from Asia and he was called a racist by Democrats who pulled publicity stunts and told people to “go to Chinatown for dinner”. 45 days later Democrats were locking everyone in their homes and criticizing Trump for not acting faster.

Long, dense, and pretty technical, but for folks who don’t want to read the whole thing, here’s one juicy part:

“The proposal to search for something never before documented and swap it around other viruses in hypothesized recombination events is not the direction evidence flows in wildlife virology. Wildlife virologists look at what we find in wildlife, and study what we find in wildlife; we don’t use our imaginations to make unnatural chimeric innovations not found in wildlife and then conjure these horrors into existence.

“SARS-CoV-2 emerged in Wuhan with a furin cleavage site never before seen in a sarbecovirus. It needs to be emphasized that, to the best of our global knowledge, “sarbecovirus with furin cleavage site” did not exist in nature before 2020, but it did exist in a grant proposal to make something not found in nature, and that biological novelty was proposed to be made in Wuhan. The exact furin cleavage site found in SARS-CoV-2 is found in another protein, a protein called alpha-ENaC found in humans and studied heavily at the same university (UNC) as one of the PI’s of DEFUSE.”

There’s lots, lots more in the article; the author makes a strong case that the wet market origin theory is almost certainly bogus, and presents as well much additional evidence for the Wuhan virology institute as its source, based on funding by DARPA from the US. And he concludes with a scathing presentation of US scientists and officials in covering up the whole fiasco.

Instead of bats they were studying animal to human transmission using the pangolin. Once the pangolins died from the virus experiments, they dumped them in a dumpster. Institute workers would dumpster dive and take them to the wet market for big money.

It is possible that a “leak” was intentional given that Trump had slapped two rounds of trade sanctions on China before the pandemic, and the obvious disdain that various powerful entities had for Trump and his agenda. So in theory it could be that someone wanted to retaliate, or elevate China’s importance in the world supply chain while distracting from other issues, with an additional or secondary goal of creating conditions for regime change. Among other possible motives.

But it’s a simpler explanation that it was just an accidental lab leak that was later exploited by various interested parties for political and financial advantage. The massive changes and power grabs and headlines made in the interests of a singular political narrative were stunning and unprecedented in scale and scope. Those factors do make the idea of a grand conspiracy appear more viable. Never before in the USA had government and media come so close together and amass the tools to silence dissent and promote a political and social agenda. But I still say that was just opportunistic, not really a plan from the start, despite the connections between people like Fauci, Gates, WHO, NIH grant recipients etc having their hands in the soup from before the pandemic broke out.

Tell me again, what is the rationale for intentionally creating deadly diseases in labs knowing full well there is no way to guarantee it will not be released?

That’s why it showed up at the military athletic games in October of 2019. It was released there to be brought back to the other countries IMHO. Prove me wrong.

what is the rationale for intentionally creating deadly diseases in labs

A laboratory full of full-time Ph.D. researchers is expensive, so there must be a rational purpose more substantial than curiosity. Like most cutting edge research, the only customer that can rationalize that kind of investment is the military. The CCP is researching new ways to kill people, slowly and painfully. The Wuhan virus is a weapon of mass destruction, chosen for its special ability to not also destroy the booty: buildings, machines, factories, refineries, infrastructure, energy.

The government was sponsoring fuaci gain of function until it got to hot and then it was moved off shore and fauci was funded by the military. When do we hold people responsible?

Very plausible.

Incidentally, that lab is, I believe, associated with Central China Normal University where I got my PhD. I have been to Wuhan many times. The CCNU camps is gorgeousness.

As Hillary says “what does it matter?” Only a few million people died and world economies suffered at the cost of American funded playing God with deadly viruses!
