Won’t not prosecuting it since 2017 just keep encouraging more of it?
I’m confused if the purpose of the DA is to help the community as a whole.

Frankly, I feel that since city, hotel, and other taxes usually go (some, anyway) to the local metro district, there shouldn’t be any charges for this “service”.
It’s multiple taxation (ie: THEFT) by our government leeches.
