For sure God Bless this man, but imagine getting that coded message, a pretty big secret to keep at that time, especially for a Brit.
Isn’t it technically UK Government property?.................
[and he’s not sharing it]
and he’s NOW sharing it?
I mean, from the excerpt, it looks like he’s NOW sharing it
Just like “prince” Charles....
Garland just appointed Jack Smith and the DC Circuit Court assigned Judge Chunkan to prosecute the theft of a Top Secret document.
The historical importance of this is.....???????
Slow news day.
.. and he looks GREAT for 100 !
Two days difference (typo?). Google says: Victory in Europe Day is the day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Germany’s unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945; it marked the official end of World War II in Europe in the Eastern Front, with the last known shots fired on 11 May.
When my dad helped liberate the Death Camp at Ebensee on May 15, the German soldiers had just run away that morning according to the survivors.
If you are a code breaker and get a message and decode it that says Germany has surrendered and WW II in Europe is over before anyone else, that is a pretty significant deal, having that message all these years is a great piece of history.
