the expectation was 25%-35%. There aren’t too many rugged individuals left.
The result of concentration of innovation lessens moving mankind forward.
It’s not a coincidence that these uniform places lacking the freedom of imagination and creativity don’t create jack in the way of state of the art stuff. The Soviet Union, Nazi-Germany, modern China, Arab world lacking freedom/imagination/creativity just didn’t or don’t innovate nearly as much as is possible.
We all pay the price.
We benefited immensely from being afforded freedom young. A lot of the objectionable stuff-tatoos, piercings, attention whoring is in rebellion to authority. The current authorities in a lot of regards are insane. I can’t imagine ever wearing an earring-lock me down, school me from home long enough in between basically calling me defective being born male while I’m being raised by TV and who knows?

Freedom of expression applies to intellectual, political, philosophic, religious and other such expressions. Not to tattoos, slutty clothing, obscenity and women dressing like attention-seeking whores.
