Can you imagine all the parents out there, scrupulously saving up for their children's "education", only to exhaust most of their life savings to pay for this?

This is why I focused on saving for my retirement. My children had to fend for themselves for higher education but when I finally kick the bucket, they will have something to inherit that has value.
