This is a sad reality for many people, but you can still believe The Lord still has purpose for you & it helps if you have strong family bonds. Nevertheless, I’m going to consider myself the lucky one if I die first and not having to go through life without my dear wife.

Don’t knock it! Been married 67 years. He died of cancer in less than 6 mos. 67 years with one person is ‘forever’ love. Plus knowing each other since age 10. Married at 15 & 16. ...I can see how these two would want to go together. Only, I do want to go to heaven and I guess if you kill yourself you go to hell.
What a great blessing to be married for two-thirds of a century! The Lord will take you when you are ready and when your work here is done. It may not be as soon as you want, but it will likely end up being sooner than you think!
