After more than four months of war triggered by the October 7 Hamas massacre in southern Israel, it’s all come down to Rafah.
Since Israel invaded Gaza, more than 200 soldiers have died, the IDF has killed over 8,000 Hamas members, according to their assessment, and another 15,000-20,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed, according to Hamas estimates.

War is a “humanitarian catastrophe” and the sooner they win, the better.
JPost is the voice of Israeli leftists, if I understand correctly.
I don’t give a frog’s watertight bung hole about the “plight of the palestinians”’in Gaza or anywhere else. They’re all complicit in this savagery. I hope the IDF completely depopulates that rat hole without a shred of mercy or remorse.
There are no civilians there. They support Hamas almost universally. If they want this war to end they would have already delivered the heads of the Hamas leadership to Bibi on silver platters.
L
ham ass terrorists could always surrender, and end the war they started.
If not, oh well! Bombs away!
F ‘em ALL
Hamass just needs to release the hostages, disarm and destroy the tunnels.
Easy-peasy.
They’re middle of the road. You’re probably thinking of Haaretz, an Israel version of the NY Times
JPost is the voice of Israeli leftists“
Well it sure looks that way.
Interestingly Haaertz is Israel’s oldest paper. Jerusalem Post in the Mandate period was known as the Palestine Post, changed their name with independence.
The Gazan sheep are all rounded up.
Now in peaceful one by one encounters, the trapped Hamas goats can be extracted from the flock
Aha. Well, *I* find the Jpost to be too squishy ... prolly like any ol’ McRomBush.
I don't think this is entirely a leftist thing. Judaism is institutionally preoccupied with viewing every question from all possible viewpoints, which sometimes leads to them looking for the dark lining in the silver cloud.
That's why the final act in a Jewish wedding is the newly-minted husband stamping on a wine glass. To remind them that even on this most joyful of days they must remain aware that life is not without suffering. Or as Psalms 2:11 says, "Rejoice with trembling."
Where is her husband? Why would a man want his wife and family living with terrorists? Could it be he's a terrorist, huh, but the media paints her as the victim. Egypt doesn't want them. There's a reason no country in the world throughout history has ever wanted them.
I have the same question as you do - if these are really persecuted innocents, why don’t the neighboring countries take them in? My answer is that those countries don’t want murderous terrorists. They would be bringing trouble into their countries.
There it is.
IT IS VERY HARD TO GET RID OF TERMITES-—
BUT IT IS ALSO NECESSARY
Wasn't this the logic many Muslims used to celebrate the carnage of 9-11 against the "great Satan"?
If they want this war to end they would have already delivered the heads of the Hamas leadership to Bibi on silver platters.
Using what----their second amendment rights? The first elections in 18 years? Congregating in plain sight hoping the one you're plotting with isn't a member of Hamas and your children will live to see another sunrise?
