The trans and gay folks are trying to schmooze the Muslims....
This goes way back. Around 1992 Louis Farrakkklan spoke at the Chicago Civic Center and got a standing O from 20k people, including Jesse Jackson,Al Sharpton, Corretta King and everyone who was someone in the civil rights movement when he called homosexuality a bigger threat to the sanctity of the Black family than drugs or racism.
His 2nd in command Khaleed Mohammed, at Queens College had 5k people cheering wildly when he declared any Black man wearing a dress has no right to walk the face of the earth (did ruPaul or the guy from the cast of Hamilton in the tuxedo dress ever get that memo?)
Yet not a peep of protest from the gay rights groups. More recently,the Pulse nite club shooting. Instead of placing the blame where it belonged, a psycho who thought he'd get in Allah's good graces by taking out as many LGBT+ people as possible, they defaulted to the need for more gun control.
It could be fear. Or, they see islamists as fellow travelers. The gay hatred and misogyny prevalent in Islam is, pardon the pun, TRUMPED by their common hatred of all things Judeo Christian and Western. So they seek an unholy alliance of convenience based on the dangerous Assumption that an enemy of my enemy is my friend.
