Senator JD Vance Issues A DIRE WARNING That The US Can't Produce Enough Weapons Stock To Support Our Own Needs, Let Alone Enough For Ukraine

Senator JD Vance issues a DIRE WARNING that the US can't produce enough weapons stock to support our own needs, let alone enough for Ukraine:

“We need missiles. And America doesn't make nearly enough of those, not for our own security, and certainly not enough to support both the Ukraine conflict and, God forbid, a conflict that might occur in East Asia. So let's specify that a little bit more. We are right now depleting critical munitions, missiles, artillery shells and bullets faster than we can replenish them. “

And then we send them to Ukraine. I'm sorry. Why does that make an ounce of sense for our own national security? Shouldn't we rebuild our own manufacturing capacity before we spend all of it on Ukraine? Shouldn't we make more of our own weapons and gain some self-sufficiency in weapons manufacturing before we send all of those resources to Ukraine?

“The answer of the United States Senate is apparently not."

$880 billion a year for DoD and another $200 billion for spy agencies just doesn’t buy what it used to

It DOES support a massive, bloated DMV-style bureaucracy, and lots of nice jobs in Northern Virginia though

Not enough weapons?

Maybe they could borrow some from the IRS.

Google Search......

OpenTheBooks says that prior to 2020, the IRS already had “4,500 guns and has stockpiled 5 million rounds of ammunition for use by its 2,159 special agents.” “These figures include 621 pump action and semi-automatic shotguns, 539 long-barrel rifles and 15 submachine guns.May 4, 2023

JD is slowly walking towards reality...many in the House, Senate and certainly the White House are intentionally destroying the country.

Actually the US can do anything it sets it’s mind to.

Problem is, so many minds have gone crazy.

Nothing is done in a vacuum. If we went to war with Iran, Russian, or anyone else we would use the full spectrum of our arsenal. That is not happening in Ukraine. it’s a WWI artillery war. The use of cruise missiles, air power, and other modern weapons systems would have ended the mess in Ukraine months ago.

I don’t doubt what Vance is saying. I am merely pointing out that it is a bit misleading.

Of course it can’t. Any student of history, who has learned about U.S. war production in previous wars knows that. This country is not equipped, nor has the capability to fight another multi-theater World War. Nor have we ever won any proxy wars we’ve been involved in. Add Ukraine to that total.

I think the world needs an opensource ATGM.

3d print the launcher, casing etc
Raspberry PI based guidance
Launcher that can be assembled from stamped parts.

It’s not the money, globalist free traitors sold out the industrial base, critical to making things for war.

We have not used the full spectrum of our weapons but we have seriously depleted many critical components of that spectrum

And we are digging deeper into our reserves to deplete even more of our systems as we run out of the existing systems we have been supplying

Witness the transfer of Patriot air defense systems, HIMAR missile systems, cluster munitions, the full spectrum of munitions for the F16s being shipped to Ukraine ( both air to air and air to ground), various tank and fighting vehicle systems, naval assets, the entire spectrum of soldier system munitions, drones, ISR and C3 system, smart weapons … etc

The drain is really just starting as we are entering into the end of the beginning in Ukraine and we are years away from beginning of the end.

The burn rate of our weapons systems is getting faster, not slower as we commit more and more of our assets to this already list cause.

In a way, you make a great point- had we committed our full spectrum of weapons in Ukraine right from the start,Ukraine would of expelled the Russians in short order

But Biden and NATO did not want a quick Ukraine victory - they wanted a grinding forever proxy war to bleed the Russians

Putin
Miscalculated badly by going into Ukraine but Biden and NATO maybe an even worse miscalculation by initiating a low intensity conflict with the intent of attrition and wearing down the Russians

No problem, just outsource the production to China like you did with everything else.

“The answer of the United States Senate is apparently not.”

Nobody can figure out why the deep state, using its bitch McConnell, just has to keep the money to Ukraine and the war going.
