After a group of migrants gang-raped a 13-year-old girl in Italy, CNN responded by expressing concern about how it might help the “far-right.”
Yes, really.
The girl was raped in front of her boyfriend in a public park in the Sicilian city of Catania.
The seven suspects are all Egyptian migrants and three were under the age of 18.
In reporting the story, CNN’s main focus was to worry about how the incident, which is just “the latest in a string of shocking sexual attacks in the country,” might increase political support for the right-wing.

“Last month’s alleged gang rape in Catania has become not only a symbol of violence against women in the country, but a cause célèbre for Italy’s far-right government,” wrote CNN’s Barbie Latza Nadeau.
Respondents pointed out that the news network was literally ‘fulfilling the meme’ made famous by Norm MacDonald.

The CNN piece also highlighted “a scathing op-ed in the right-leaning newspaper Il Giornale” because it accurately pointed to the fact that mass migration is driving sexual crimes across Europe.
“Why are these individuals, without any requirement to access international protection, still in Italy and have not been subject to expulsion?” the editors wrote.
As we previously highlighted, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini called for people convicted of violent sexual offences to be chemically castrated in response to the gang rape of the 13-year-old girl.
CHEMICALLY castrated?! How about the old fashioned way. Or better yet just End them and rid the civilized world of the evil.
Then the Left needs to find ways to make gang rape seem more acceptable.
I confess that I my knowledge of Sicily and Sicilians is from what I’ve read and seen in movies. But I would think that the Egyptians involved have a lot more to worry about than chemical castration.

I thought Sicilians had nice, quiet, clean, unobtrusive, and effective techniques for dealing with this sort of thing.
If it wasn’t for the ATTITUDES the FAR RIGHT, there would not have been a need for those migrants to rape the 13 year old Italian girl.

Take them to about 10 miles offshore from Egypt and tell them they’re free to go and the throw them overboard and point them toward the coast.
My knowledge of all things Sicilian comes from the Godfather trilogy, but I think they know how to handle such things. And it won’t be pretty for the Egyptian boys. Maybe Joe can call the president of Mexico and see if he can help.

The gang raped happened in Catania, which I think is the second largest city in Sicily. That's where these rare events usually happen; in the cities like Palermo and Catania
IMO if it had happened in a small village like the one I live in (Pop. ~8,000), and if the carabinieri (state police) didn't get to those animals first and cart them off to jail, they'd have been ripped to pieces.
Fifty years ago that would have happened regardless of the cops. But the carabinieri these days are quick on the scene and largely incorruptible. They follow the law, and that's it - they won't "look the other way," like in the old days, so that ordinary folks can "take care of business."
A quick comment on the "migrant" situation on this island: I've noticed more of them in my town during the past several months. Where I'd normally see 2-3 of them, once in a great while, I'm now seeing larger groups of them. They used to all be African but I'm now seeing some from the M.E. and Afghanistan. Not good. I've got to talk with some friends here to see what's going on with that.
On the other hand, the "migrants," who are almost all young men, ship out of here and to the mainland because there's no "pot of gold" for them in these small towns, or in greater Sicily, period. The ones in my town all live in a shitty apartment building off to the side of the main town and their quarters are cramped. Though (of course!) they pay for nothing, the government gives them a measly ~$4 per day for food, and that's it. That's unlike in the UK, for instance, where they'll get free housing and a nice, fat benefits check every month to spend on whatever they want to. So they don't stick around - Germany, France and the UK are where they all want to go because of the generous benefits they'll be gifted there. Plus, that's where their "people" have already built their insular "countries within a country." For a variety of reasons, I can't see that ever happening here.
Sicily is poor in terms of having cash to give away to non-citizens or even to its citizens. For instance, though it is cheap to live here most of the old timers are living off of pensions around $500 per month.
Some Freepers got excited when Meloni got elected as PM in Italy. I knew better. She's essentially a globalist who has a knack for making fiery speeches about social and cultural issues, and then doing nothing to right the wrongs she rails against. Of course, that's not all her fault, but similar to when Republicans take power in the US, the Right in Italy still thinks it can play nice with the leftists and not get creamed.
Remember, the UniParty is not exclusive to the US, it is a global phenomenom.
A final observation: It's laughable to think that the Mafia would have a hand in punishing the Egyptian gang rapists when one considers the fact that the mob is heavily involved in getting such vermin here and then renting the government the housing for them. The mob's making a fortune off the whole mess.
