Fear not, truly.
I am an election official in Georgia. With the “emergency” crap gone, absentee ballots are under greater scrutiny than in-person voting.
Can a law-breaking election team accept fraudulent absentee ballots? Yes. But there’s no mass mail-in voting any more in GA. And the only drop boxes are in County offices. Ballot harvesting is also back to being illegal.
We should be able to overcome deliberate fraud in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett and Bibb counties.
Can only hope so and that the diligence you’re stating is also happening in the other major key locations.
Good to know. Thanks for all you do to ensure election integrity.
I have wanted to see the term “mail in voting” eliminated. People confuse “absentee voting” with “mail in voting” - every person drawing a breath and their dog marking and mailing a ballot - or several!
I hope with your reply, that and other problems (drop boxes etc.,) will be taken care of. What you have stated as steps taken, it can only mean GOOD for us!
Fully agree with Post #12 - thank you!
I just signed up for absentee ballot mailed to me. I had to furnish all kinds of my personal information to get approved. But this is St John’s county in Florida, and election process here is highly reliable.
