What is interesting is that it appears that the notice of the death seems to have come out of China media who referenced a ‘horrible car crash’... North American media would only initially say that ‘details were not available’. However, here is the NYT saying a day ago that “She died in a car crash...” https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/14/business/angela-chao-dead.html
Well, it all has once again shown that the media can’t be trusted for anything.... and it certainly appears a coverup of some sort is going on. For what end is the mystery...
Those electric doors locks don’t work well when wet.
The car probably caught on fire as well.
We recently had a Tesla back off the boat ramp and into the water, the damn thing was arcing underwater. It’s probably on YouTube, it was local Hollywood/fort Lauderdale.
Oh wow! Memories of the Billy Sol Estes cases popped into my mind!
“ Depending on how the measurement is taken, Austin is about a one hour drive to the east..”
Or less. Depending on how one measures.
Do you think she died in a car crash?
There has been so much misinformation and lack of information, I don’t think there is anything that can logically be ‘believed’. It seems unlikely she’s alive but given how the story has been treated, even that seems to be a doubtful conclusion that needs verification. Anyone know whether a coroner’s report even exists?
Let’s assume her car ended up in a deep pond and she drowned, does that qualify as a ‘car crash’?
That’s interesting.
It’s total fake news on a fake website.
It’s interesting because it’s in English propagating the Chicom media articles that appeared immediately after her death.
This reminds me of the William Colby (former head of the CIA) “accidental drowning in the Potomac” case.
(Hint: Colby was a former Olympic swimmer.)
😄 Sure thing!
Drowning works better than suffocation by pillow on a ranch. See former judge for reference.
We gotta word in English for that kinda odd, it’s called ‘suspicious’.
This was just posted a few minutes ago and probably should have its own thread...
“Now, a week later, the Blanco County Sheriff’s Office has revealed Chao died after her car went into a pond located on a private ranch located 40 miles outside of Austin, Texas.”
https://news.yahoo.com/foremost-group-ceo-angela-chao-205349418.html This link adds some timeline to it...
“Blanco County County EMS Chief Ben Oakley told CNBC in a prior interview that emergency personnel were called just after midnight Sunday to respond to a “water rescue” at a private property in Johnson City.
Oakley did not use the name of the victim of that rescue, citing privacy laws.
An ambulance arrived at 12:12 a.m. at the scene, where a car containing one person was “completely submerged” in a pond, estimated to be between 12 and 15 feet deep, Oakley said.
The woman in the car was “extricated from the vehicle,” and rescue workers tried to resuscitate her “for 43 minutes” without success, the chief said.”
https://www.businessinsider.com/angela-chao-foremost-group-ceo-mcconnell-sister-in-law-dead-2024-2 This piece does not state who owned the ranch where this happened but makes this statewent....
“Chao and Breyer owned a sweeping tract of land, including a ranch house and an airstrip in Blanco County. It’s unclear if that is where the incident occurred. Authorities could not comment on the location due to the ongoing investigation.”
Yeah.
It’s rehash but good rehash and the one bit seems confirm it’s was their ranch.
On Chinese New Year.
It’s weird.
The cover story she was hit by a drunk driver on the road put out by Chicoms.
The still lack of reporting on this.
