“Special Ed” does not mean that someone has a disability. It is also a place where they throw troubled children just to get rid of them.
What if the 18 year old kid been sleeping with one of his male teachers. That probably would have been okay with the administrators.

Yep, there’s a huge spectrum of “Special Ed.” Kids that act up a bit or disrupt a class become “special ed.” This 18 year old “kid” could be perfectly normal in all aspects except a lack of self control. Or he could have Down’s Syndrome or worse.
My sister ran a room for such schools at the school she taught at in Baltimore and provided lots of one-on-one tutoring and coaching for the “special needs” kids. She actually got great results with a lot of them.

She may have been seeing a student from a different class. Imho 24 / 18 is not guilty regardless of sex of the two as long as it isn’t a same sex thing. If the student can join the army he can boink his teacher.
