This is awful! I feel bad for President Trump and his family.
I would consider giving him FU money, even if he wanted to spend it on Twinkies and Hot Dogs.
Timely and total repayment of loans does not extinguish the harm that false statements inflict on the marketplace. Indeed, the common excuse that “everybody does it” is all the more reason to strive for honesty and transparency and to be vigilant in enforcing the rules. Here, despite the false financial statements, it is undisputed that defendants have made all required payments on time; the next group of lenders to receive bogus statements might not be so lucky. New York means business in combating business fraud.
In other words: "Sure, you repaid on time, but you lied on your loan applications so we must make an example of you to deter others from lying on their applications."

Apparently this “judge” has never taken out a real estate loan. The lenders send out appraisers, they don’t take the borrower’s word for the value of the property. Geesh
My goofy neighbor says her fake news is reporting that Trump is asking people to pay the 300 Million for him. I figured something was wrong with what she said.
He is using it as a campaign donation plea.

All the testimony from lenders that they were not injured by Trump’s financial statements went in one ear and out the other. No surprise. His head is empty.
RE:Nearly half the country is cheering this grotesque abuse of justice and the court system. This cannot end well.
